American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid

   The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First  Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course equips students to recognize and  care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies  involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who  need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory  requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the  online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed  prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session. Upon successful  completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric  First Aid/CPR/AED is issued. 

American Red Cross Babysitting with Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid

  

   This in-person Babysitting course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and  confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on  activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life  readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering,  picking up and holding children, safety and emergency response. Babysitting Certificate is valid for 10 years.


The Adult & Pediatric First Aid & CPR & AED portion of class incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of all ages, It also teaches students how to use an AED. Students who successfully complete this course will receive an Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED cert which is valid for 2 years.




American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguard

  The Lifeguarding course provides participants the  knowledge and skills to prevent recognize and respond to aquatic  emergencies in both shallow water (less than 7 feet) and deeper water (7  feet or more) and to provide professional-level care for breathing and  cardiac emergencies injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel  take over. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the  assigned online portion(s) (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must  be completed prior to each instructor-led session.   Participants who successfully complete this course receive an American  Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding (including deep water) with  CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid valid for 2 years.  Prerequisites: 1. Minimum age: 15 years; 2. Complete a swim- tread-swim  sequence: Jump into the water submerge resurface swim 150 yards (using  the front crawl breaststroke or a combination of both) maintain position  at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only  the legs then swim 50 yards using the front crawl breaststroke or a  combination of both. 3. Complete a timed event within 1 minute 40  seconds by starting in the water swimming 20 yards surface dive  (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 to 12 feet to retrieve a  10-pound object return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to  return to the starting point holding the object at the surface with both  hand exit the water without using a ladder or steps.    

American Red Cross Lifeguard Review(Recert)

  

American Red Cross Lifeguard r24 recertification can be achieved with Lifeguard Recert classes that refresh your knowledge and skills and will update your certification for another two years. To participate in the Lifeguard Recert class you must have a current lifeguard certification, or certification expired by no more than 30 days.

This detailed recertification includes both testing of hands-on skills in and out of the water. The certification, which includes First Aid, CPR and AED training for the professional rescuer, is valid for two years upon completion and is accepted nationwide. The American Red Cross is the most respected source for training and certification of this kind.

American Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguard

  

Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in shallow water up to 5-7 feet and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over Prerequisites: Minimum age: 15 years; Swim 100 yards continuously; Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs; Complete a timed event within 50 seconds by starting in the water swim 20 yards Submerge to a depth of 4 to 5 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object, Return to the surface and walk or swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point with both hands holding the object and exit the water without using steps or a ladder.
